LOVE AND HAPPINESS - ANTHOLOGY 2014

We welcome all contributors for our latest project – ‘Anthology: Love and Happiness. We want to bring up love and happiness all around us. We all are always loved to be happy and happy to be loved. One would wonder if there is any happiness without love in this world. We, as authors, will do the same thing now which we loved to do and are happy about, that would be getting a pen and writing a fiction that is like writing love letters to all our fans. At times like these, we should write to sow the seed of love. We all know the saying, as you sow, so shall you reap!

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1.)  Fictions/True stories can be submitted in any format         including Short Story, Poetry and Prose Poetry etc.

2.)    Word Limit is min – 1000 and max – 5000.

3.) Your submission must include a page around ‘Author Information’. But this is not a part of the submission’s word limit. Please provide a photo along with your author details.

4.)    Your story should be in word format (.doc). Just to make it easy for the project lead – Hammad Khan, we request all the contributors to send the story as per following formatting guidelines. Though the project lead might change it, depending on the publisher’s requirement.

a.   Margins - (Top, Bottom, Left and Right – 2cm)

b.    Font Type – Times New Roman

c.    Font Size – 14

d.    Line Spacing – 1.5

e.    Text Alignment – Justified

5.)    The submission must be written around the subject, which is described as the “Love & Happiness”.

6.)   Please proofread your work. This project does not include any editing or proofreading. Before you contribute your story, please edit and proofread it twice. We will do a final check for the submitted stories to avoid incorrect or inappropriate content. Two editors are assigned for this as ‘Hammad Khan’and ‘Archana Kapoor Nagpal’. In case, any change is required we will revert the submission to the author before making amending them.

7.)    The authors will hold the publishing rights of their work.

8.)    Prefer to send unpublished work only.

9.)    The book will be self-published / traditionally published in both “Paper Back” and “Kindle version”.(Publisher to be decided after consent of all authors).

10.)   Submission Date: First Deadline – 25^th May, 2014.

Last Date of Submission – 25^th May, 2014

Reviewing and Selection Process – 22^nd June

Sharing of Selected Stories on “Author’s United” along with title finalisation – 23^rd till 28^th June

11^th July – Book to be published.
