Competition makes us to do something out of ourselves as we have to overcome not only ourselves but also others to win it. It tests both our positivity and creativity. Whether we win or lose, in the end we always gain something from it, which might even be a lesson of our lifetime. There will be nothing if there is no competition in this world and thus we are bringing the same to the world of “Authors’ United”. We welcome all the unpublished authors or authors having only one self-published book for the competition of writing a Fiction piece about Love & Happiness. The idea is to nurturing the new authors by providing them the platform not only to be judged by internationally recognised authors, but also to get published with them in an anthology.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1.)    Fictions can be submitted in any format including Short Story, Poetry and Prose Poetry etc. 

2.)    Word Limit is min – 1000 and max – 5000

3.)    Your submission must include a page around ‘Author Information’. But this is not a part of the fiction’s word limit. Please provide a photo along with your author details.

4.)    Your submission should be in word format (.doc).

·         Margins - (Top, Bottom, Left and Right – 2cm)

·         Font Type – Times New Roman

·         Font Size – 14

·         Line Spacing – 1.5

·         Text Alignment – Justified

5.)    The fiction must be written around the subject, which is described as the “Love & Happiness”.

6.)  Please proofread your work. Before you contribute your story, please edit and proofread it twice.

7.)    Selected authors will hold the publishing rights of their work.

8.)  The book will be self-published / traditionally published in both “Paper Back” and “Kindle version”.

9.)    Submission Date: First Deadline – 30^th May, 2014.
